Scenario Special Rules
For the purposes of this scenario, only Troopers with the Doctor, Paramedic, or Specialist Operative Special Skills can declare the Stabilize Infected and Scan Infected Skills. (The generic Specialist Troop definition does not apply to these Skills.)
5 Infected Civilians total; one of which is the Alpha Infected, placed in the center of the table.
Before the Deployment Phase, each player must place two Infected totally inside the adversary's half of the table. The two Infected must be at least 4" outside the adversary's Deployment Zone and at least 8" away from each other. Cannot be placed on top of or inside any Scenery Item or Building — accessible locations only.
The player that kept Deployment places their two Infected first.
2 Stabilization Zones (Circular Templates). Before the Deployment Phase, after placing the Infected, each player places one Circular Template totally inside their own Deployment Zone.
The player that kept Deployment places their Circular Template first.
At the end of each Player Turn, any Infected being CivEvaced and totally inside a Stabilization Zone is Stabilized (the CivEvacing Trooper must also be totally inside the Stabilization Zone).
A Stabilized Infected cannot be Stabilized by the other player. This applies to both the Stabilize Infected Skill and Stabilization Zones.
- Only Troopers with the Doctor, Paramedic, or Specialist Operative Special Skills can declare this Skill.
- The Trooper must be in Silhouette contact with an Infected, or with an allied Trooper who is CivEvacing an Infected.
- Allows the Trooper to make a Normal WIP Roll to Stabilize an Infected. If the roll is failed, this can be repeated as many times as necessary, each time spending the corresponding Short Skill and making the roll.
- Player A and Player B Tokens can be used to mark the Stabilized Infected.
- Only Troopers with the Doctor, Paramedic, or Specialist Operative Special Skills can declare this Skill.
- The Trooper must have an Infected or a Stabilized Infected within their LoF and Zone of Control, whether the Infected is being CivEvaced or not.
- Allows the Trooper to make a Normal WIP Roll to Scan an Infected. If the roll is failed, this can be repeated as many times as necessary, each time spending the corresponding Short Skill and making the roll.
- A Scanned Infected can be Scanned again by the other player, applying the same procedure. In this case, both players have Scanned that Infected.
- Restriction: A Scanned Infected cannot be Scanned again by the same player.
Troopers possessing the Doctor or Paramedic Special Skill have a +1SD MOD to the WIP Rolls necessary to Stabilize, Scan, or perform CivEvac on an Infected.
At the end of the game, an Infected that has been Stabilized by the player — or is being CivEvaced by one of their Troopers — is Secured if their Zone of Control is free of enemy Troopers (not counting those in a Null State).
In this scenario, the HVT Model and Secure HVT rules are not applied. Players will not deploy the HVT Model on the game table and they will not use the Classified Deck.
In this scenario, the Secure Treasure rule is not applied.
